User Override App Colors & Window Titles?

Greetings everyone. I had a VERY bizarre situation come to my attention this morning. I wrote an application in which the background color of all frames, pages, forms, and views is black… with the user-provided text white. Also, the window title is set to “ENSSW NMS Tools - WORS2K5”. Everyone who has used the application to this point has seen the black background, white text, and proper title. This morning, a new user signed into the application and sees something completely different. All of her backgrounds are white, the text is still white, and the window title shows as “(Untitled)”. Is it possible for a user to have some preferences set somewhere that says “I don’t care what the background color is set to… I want white” or something along those lines? I am at a loss here… if someone could assist, that would be stellar. Thank you!

Subject: could the user have changed User Preferences?

Youj might check that. And on the form itself, make sure that on the fourth tab, color, be sure that the box “allow users to change this property” is not checked.

Where would the user go to change the background color? I looked at User Preferences, and I did not see anything in there about custom colors, etc…

Also, I did turn off the “allow users to change” option on the forms, but that is not available in the pages. Thanks Cathy!

Subject: User Preferences if checked could make a

difference. Glad to help with the form part, though. I notice under User Preferences, additional options, that one has the option of using system colors or Web palette. I have both of those turned off (not checked). I rather fear testing them out  But I wonder if checking them/turning them on might be a part. I think the main thing, though, was the form. Good Luck Chris!
