User management

My scenario is suppose a user can send mail to all but nobody can reply him and nobody can mail to him also. Is it possible…

This is kind of a hack, but it’d probably work for a while. Register this new user and create his ID (save it to your data directory) and mail file.

Open your local, Personal Address Book (this will be used to help undo the hack, if you want).

In addition, open the Domino directory where his Person document lives.

Select his document, cut (CTRL+X) it and paste it in the personal address book.

Now, when you want to send a message from this user’s account, log in using his Notes ID, then open his mail file manually. Create a new memo and send it. Users won’t be able to reply because, if they try, they’ll get the message that his name is not found in the Domino directory.

Does that work for you?

Does the user need to log in to Sametime or any Domino web server?

If yes, set the user’s Mail System in their person document to “None”

If no, delete their person document from the Domino Directory.

Hi,

There might be many ways to do this.

An easy suggest would be to block/reject mails to (not from) that user via a server rule.
