For some reason, a user has 6 documents that will not delete. They are in his inbox. They cannot be dragged to trash, delete will not removed them, tried control shift f9, tried replacing design of db, and tried deleting from all docs view.
Notes says the document has already been deleted but still show in the inbox.
Yeah, we saw this after upgrading to 7.0.0. It was probably a bug in 6.5.5 as well. Upgrading to 7.0.1 fixed this for us. You can try two things:Change the soft delete settings to a number greater than the default 48 hours, close the db, then change it back. And if that doesn’t work go to step 2.
I believe that you can disable soft deletions, close the db, then open and re-enable soft deletions. This would, of course, delete all items that have been soft deleted. If you feel ok getting rid of them, then try this.
After doing these, you may want to also run a fixup -f, updall, and compact.
Are you in a cluster? It was funny for me because in our cluster situation the cluster replica was correct - meaning that the document had been removed from the Inbox properly. Pretty odd.
Does your user have manager access to their DB? Are they the one attempting the ctrl-shift-F9 or is the DB manager? We have seen this problem and having a DB manager do a ctrl-shift-F9 fixes it.
