UseBasicNotes Issue

We are using a policy to change UseBasicNotes to be 0 when the machines it is installed on have enough memory.

I have changed a users policy and the ini setting has updated to 0, but the users client still loads the basic configuration.

I deleted the UseBasicNotes line completely, and still the basic client loads…

There are no /basic -sa switches on the shortcut either to force this!

Has anyone else seen this issue?

I have tried numerous things and still no joy getting the standard client to load.

are you sure the full standard client is installed on the user’s computer?

Subject: yes standard client is installed

yes the full 8.5.1 mail client is installed.

on all other machines when changing the policy the clients have changed ok after a rebbot.
