URL's not launching IE when clicked in emails

I have a user who, when he clicks on a URL in an email, gets nothing. If the address is formatted with www.ibm.com it’s fine, but if you add the http:// or https:// it won’t launch IE.

I checked all the settings I could think of, the Notes client is set to use the OS browser and overall, everything seems good. Just wondering if anyone’s seen this…

Subject: same problem here

We have the same problem, we use 8.5.1 If we start IE8 and set IE8 as the default browser it works for a while. It is a workaround but not a nice one.
