URL's in Calendar Entries

I am trying to put URL’s into the description area of a Calendar entry which is a rich text field. I have tried copying and pasting them from IE, entering them directly and using Hotspots but none of them work.

While it looks like it is working the URL does not become active. It works fine in emails and I have the setting for ‘making URL’s into Hotspots’ turned on in my user preferences.

Any ideas?

Subject: URL’s in Calendar Entries

Calendar entries are put into edit mode when you open them. Hotspots don’t work in edit mode.

You can put the entry back in read mode with CTRL+E.

Note that the links will work in a document that the user only has reader access to, as it won’t be possible to put the document in edit mode.
