I’ve raised this before, and I’m pretty sure it was supposed to be sorted, but its not and its a real pain.
Say you get an email from a web site that provides lots of links to news stories, as an example I’ll choose http://theregister.co.uk.
Now what I want to be able to do is right click on the URL and have an option to Open in a new browser session.
This is an extremely useful option when viewing web sites in the browser itself but is not available from the Notes client. Its actually really frustrating.
Actually I condider this a hinderance to my work, will it ever be “fixed”.

It is only a hinderance if you have selected Notes with Internet Explorer for your web browser in the location document. Just change this to Internet Explorer and by default it will open a new browser window outside of the client.

Granted it will, and this is how my client is actually configued. I think you’re slightly missing my point.
I want to be able to click a link and have it open in a browser window.
Then I want to ALT+TAB back to Notes and click the next link in the message, and then have that open in a new browser window.
This way on a slow connection I can open multiple windows and be reading one article while others are loading.
With things as they are, Notes always sends the http request to the same browser window. Which is fine by default, but like I said you should be able to “right click” and open in a new browser window for every link in the message.
Surely, I can’t be the only one who works this way.

By default It works about the same way as you discribed. (on Windows platform) when Notes is integrated with IE
just use Back or Ctrl-TAB instead of Alt-TAB to navigate back to your mail.
It’s so handy to read news! I’ve even uninstalled Netcaptor.
If you use IE - than integration should be enaled to achieve your goal (in location doc)
If you use Opera 7.x - every new click opens new tab in Opera.

I figured out another way. I’ve switched to using the Mozilla browser freely available from www.mozilla.org.
Its great - every time I click a link in a mail message it opens in a new browser window.
Mozilla also includes a popup manager/preventer and is one of the supported browsers for Domino Web Access on Domino 6.5
I tried the opera browser as suggested in the previous post but that didn’t work with DWA so was a non starter.
Hope this helps
