Urgent ! -Wrong defaul password for user.id

HI everyone.Do you all have any idea about the following problem.

I have a user using client 6, he has been using this notes user id for many years. after reformating his PC including reinstalling Lotus client in his machine, when notes prompt for user id and password, they have key in his notes password, but they receive an error said " wrong user password" , then they copy the original user.id from the server with the default password, but the system still prompt “wrong password”. anyone face this issues before?

If u have admin client, check the id properties from Configuration tab. Check whether the password is accepting…

Hi,While installing notes client did u ticked on the option which synchornizes the notes id file password with the windows login password.If yes , then u would have to put the same password as that of the windows login password othwerwise try reinstalling the notes and make sure that you do not tick that particular option.

use Password Recovery to generate a new password. Hopefully you have that enabled in your certifier. Look it up in Admin Help.
