Urgent : Problem on Variable in Formula..any help?

I have a case, using Formula…I’m using a variable for carrying out value of dblookup

just like this :

@For(n := 0;

n <= 3;

n := n + 1;

@do(

key = n;

test := test + @dblookup(“”;“”;view;key;fieldName;[failsilent]);

));

consider the value of test after the formula being executed is

test1

test2

test3

Now I have one more looping

@For(n := 0;

n <= 3;

n := n + 1;

@do(

key = n;

test := test + @dblookup(“”;“”;view;key;fieldName;[failsilent]);

));

where again we consider the value of test for the second looping without the first

test3

test4

test5

but when I show the value of them all in a compute field

Their value are

(answer a)

test1test3

test1test4

test1test5

Not the one like

(answer b)

test1

test2

test3

test4

test5

test6

Is it possible to have a value printed on the compute value like answer b??

You don’t show us how the ‘test…’ values are being put into the computed field. It might help if you posted the rest of the code.

Ok…the formula I gave on the first post is located in the programming pane of the compute field…

so to set the value test to the compute field, I simply use this kind of code :

@return(test);

Any help…?
