Urgent Please - Remote Primary Availability error

Can anyone help with this?

I have a remote server that is experiencing some rather nasty issues at the moment due to a unstable WAN link. As soon as the remote server loses connectivity to the primary server at the head office I get a error message stating:

Reloading configuration directory due to changes in remote primary availability

This then causes the server to stop responding to access (i.e. Notes client, Domino Adminstrator, etc). I have configured the server with a local condensed directory but it doesn’t seem to be helping.

Help…!!

Subject: Using configuration-only directory on remote server?

From the error message, I’d guess that the remote server’s Domino Directory contains only configuration documents, and gathers user and group information from a central directory on another server. This option keeps replication and indexing overhead low, but leaves this server more vulnerable than usual to the whims of the network. To see if the server really is using a configuration-only directory, check the “Include” dropdown on the Space Savers tab of the replication settings for names.nsf on the problem server. If this says “Configuration Documents only”, you will probably want to change it to “All Fields”, and clear the “Documents that meet a selection formula” checkbox farther down on the same tab. That won’t solve the access problem immediately, because the server still has to pull Person and Group documents from a remote primary, but once the next replication with an R.P. is complete, the server will have a more resilient, if significantly larger, local directory.
