[URGENT] JavaScript menu + Frameset?

Hi everyone!

This time the problem is:

I have a roll-out menu in one frame of a frameset, and a view(s) in other frame. I access views by expanding some of the menu’s items and selecting one of subitems.

When a document in 2nd frame is opened (or closed), the entire frameset is reloaded, and menu (in 1st frame) collapses.

Is there any way to save menu’s position?

Thanks in advance,

  Dmitry.

lol,

for your problem, the view is display as an applet or in html ?

What is the target of the link in the view ?

Do you an autoframe script ?

Do you use the autoframe property in the document property of notes ?

PLEASE don’t put anymore [URGENT] in your subject.

Thanx anyway :))

The view display is an applet. I’m moving to html, so - maybe the problem will fade?

What is the target of the link in the view

The same frame. May be… donnow, really. Where to see?

Do you an autoframe script ?

I wish I knew what is it.

Do you use the autoframe property in the document property of notes ?

Yes, frameset and frame are set.

PLEASE don’t put anymore [URGENT] in your subject.

I won’t

You can continue using an applet.I’m not sure of the result but you can try to disable the autoframe in the notes form,

Have you create a form : “$$ViewTemplateDefault” ? If not create it and put an embedded element → view, select “choose a view based on formula” et put in the formula : “All”

Right click on the embedded View, and in the Target frame for double click write the name of the frame where you want to open document.

Hope this work.
