Hi,
I am trying to use the new Java UI classes but no success. When I try to import the package com.ibm.notes.java.ui.*, I get the error: ‘cannot resolve the import’. This happens in both a Java Agent and Script Library. It seems like the package is not included. I don’t know if there is some configuration that I need to do in order to get this to work.
Has anyone have an idea of how I can resolve the problem?

Subject: They only work inside an Eclipse plugin
You can only use the UI classes from within an Eclipse plugin. They don’t work in classic Agents and Java Libraries.

i waited ui classes so hardly this past year. i really thought that they’d be available in agents, because nobody said they wouldn’t.it’s very disappointing to realize that “huge improvement” shrank to plugin dinkleding…
i think many other developers got cheated too?

Currently we’ve developed such Java agents-Notes UI plugins bridge, but only as a part of another bigger Lotus Notes 8.5.1 based solution of us.
