URGENT!: Incoming mail attachments sometimes in plain-text

This just started happening recently after many years of normal behavior. One user occasionally gets email with attachment(s) displayed in plain-text. (see sample below). Other users in the same office cc’d on the same email receive it with no problem and attachments intact.

what is the users incoming mail preference on the person doc? is it different from other users?

All users’ settings in the Domino Directory are identical: “Keep in sender’s format”.

Again, this is an intermittent with this user. Not all mail he receives exhibits this issue.
