We have a user that is working with a client in Korea, the text in the emails coming from Korea to our office are ledgible in the body but the email addresses are not. I read within this forum that we need the FONTS.EXE file that resides on the Notes CD, we don’t have this CD. Nor can I find the font MTSANS_K.TTF anywhere on the web.
I don’t know where the font you’re looking for is at, however, since it’s urgent, maybe this workaround may work for you. Try to read the e-mail on the web using the ?opendatabase&ui=webmail method. Once you open the e-mail in HTML format then go to the browser to set the encoding to the proper language. You may at least be able to read the FROM text properly in its native font and id the person.
Thank you for your reply. I was able to find a Notes CD which has the font. I didn’t think this task would be so labor intensive…this font doesn’t exist anywhere out there on the web. Don’t lose your cd’s
