Hi all,
My Chinese users hv a problem in opening PDF file from web site. Those Chinese named PDF files cannot be opened sometimes. It is said “item not found exception” in server log. If PDF file name is in English, no problem for it.
However, every time I save user’s Chinese file to my local disk and attach it into a document again, it can be opened from web site by me. However, not must success by other users.
Any idea on this strange problem? Pls help! Thx!

Hi,sorry but the question is not very clear, I hardly find a relation between openiong a PDF from a website and Domino Server Log…
Anyhow we also have Chinese people in my company and I noticed that if their client is Chinese, so all e-mails and attachments with Chinese symbols are opened and displayed correctly, otherwise some not.
So if not yet I suggest to verify that those people already have the Chinese client and not the English client…
Perhaps this could help. I don’t have any other information on this.
