When our Notes environment was created, there was a single Notes server running v4.6 and the name of the server was XXX_XXXXX_XXX/Domain (where the Xs are is our server name). I never thought anything about the name (other than I hated it) until we went to Linux. We migrated in April and since that time, there are some strange things going on with our server like the server is hanging (never shutting down) on the weekends and only on the weekends. During the week, everything seems okay.
We have DIIOP running on this server as well and this might be the problem too, but my question is I thought there was always a case sensitivity issue with Linux. In our file structure, we have mixed case folders and file names (b/c Windows 2000 didn’t care).
Does anyone have any thoughts on the above? Thank you in advance.
