Upgrdading from R5 to R7

Hi,

I have a Domino Server 5.0.13 server running on Mandrake Linux 8

I am planning to install Domino Server 7.02 on SuSE 10.2

All clients will be upgraded to R7.

My quuestions are:

Can the R5 and R7 servers co-exist or should I upgrade the R5 to R7?

Alternatively, can I Install a new R7 server on Suse and move the old R5 server to the new R7 platfrom?

This way I would not need to have 2 servers?

Which of the above 2 is the prefered way / easier way?

Thanks for the link.I’ve read most of those documents.

However, I’m looking for hints from users that have done the upgrade from 5.x to 7.x
