Hi to all I our company has 3 servers with lotus 6.5 and now we are doing a cleanup and crating a new server that will run on linux an we will install lotus 7 on it.
How can I move the existing databases and users onto the new server? Can I just do Database->New Copy… and place the copy on the new server? Or do i have to do some aditional things? What do i have to copy to move the users? Will it all work same as on the 6.5?
Do i have to upgrade each client? How long does it take and how complicated is it?

You can move from OS but you have to consider a lot of things before with ACL, location, Admin4 pending tasks, etcetera

There is a lot of variables.

No.
- How long does it take and how complicated is it?
It could be very easy or very complicated, it depends of a lot of varibles in the environment.
