Currently we have Notes users on a Windows 2000 server. We set up the work around in R5 to have separate Notes directories in their Documents and Settings directory. My question is, if I use the upgrade function in Administrator and email it to them will it upgrade their Notes Directory or try to load Notes on the Windows 2000 server?

I believe that if you try the upgrade function under the Administrator and email it to tem it will try to load the Notes on the Windows 2000 server. What I have been trying to experiment with in our configuration (citrix and terminal services with seperate data directories) is to instead come up with a way to cut down each users notes.ini to a bare ini file and putting all of the notes 6 templates in each user’s data directory along with a configuration file to handle all prompts for a setup to update each user’s local notes configuration
