Upgrading from 6.5.2 to 6.5.6

Hi everybody,as far as you know, are there any issues in upgrading Domino from 6.5.2 to 6.5.6?

I don’t think so, I have not found anything on this (but I could have not searched in the right way).

Any answer is apprciated.

Hi Ermanno,

No issues in doing an in place upgrade of the domino servers. For the sake of safety, backup the complete data directory and the complete Domino program directory, then shut down the server and install 6.5.6 over the existing version. I would also suggest that while you are upgrading, also apply the 6.5.6 FP1 and 6.5.6 FP2, as it contains many bug fixes.

Do you know what happens if I upgrade a Domino Server to 6.5.6 but not the related LEI?

Hi Ermanno,

I do not foresee any issues, but I suggest that you have a check with IBM Support before doing this. :slight_smile:
