Does someone know about any consideration i should keep in mind when upgrading from Domino server from 6.0.x to 6.5.x regarding applications on the server?
These applications are web enabled and they connect to Oracle databases.

I had no issues moving from one to another. Some were web applications as well. I did not connect to an Oracle Database, but I do connect to an I-Series machine and that continued to work.

All I am aware about 6.5 is that some of the view icons were changed, so it can have a small impact on some applications.But nothing critical.
Perhaps it would be worth it to wait to upgrade to 7.0 though?

If you’ve customized any of the templates that come with Domino (say, the mail template), those customizations will be blown away by any upgrade. Either keep backup copies and put them in place after the upgrade is completed or hold off until you can apply your customizations to the new templates.
