I have several phones running Traveler on a 8.02 server and I’m planning on upgrade this server to 8.5.1. Do I need to upgrade the Client software direct after the upgrade, uninstall before the upgrade?
Or can I upgrade the server and upgrade the phone clients later?
Anybody done this ?

Work with upgrade the phone clients later. I can use the old client also.
Upgraded today from 8.5 to 8.5.1.
Subject: Upgrade Traveler
Here is the recommended order:
Upgrade the Domino Server that Traveler is running on first.
Start Domino Server to allow upgrade process to complete.
Upgrade Traveler Server next - old traveler will not run correctly on the upgraded server.
Start Traveler or restart Domino (Traveler will start)
All set - Upgrade the clients at your lesiure - old clients will continue to work.
