I have just upgrade the current Domino server from 6.5.4 to 7.0.3.
After the server upgrade and reload the domino server console.
A message “Do you want to upgrade the design of the Domino Directory? This replaces the standard forms and views with ones from the template. (Yes/No)” appear and i select “Yes” to continue.After that,i found the database design would be upgrade to new version also.
After that,the domino server work properly.
However,i found that if i shutdown the domino server console and then reboot the whole server.After the server reboot,i load the domino server console again.However,the same upgrade message appear again.
So,i would like to know if there were any way could fix this problem.

There are two lines in the server’s notes.ini that indicate which version you are using. When these two lines do not match up with the server release you are running, it triggers the upgrade prompt. Copy these lines from the notes.ini from another server running the version of Domino you are running on your server:
(for example these are from a Domino 6.5.5 server):
Setup=650201
ServerSetup=6010
It is normal to be prompted to upgrade the Domino directory if it is backleveled.

I have check the current notes.ini and found the following information.
Setup=650200
ServerSetup=6010
So,i would like to know if there were any other way could fix this problem since the domino directory have been upgraded after i select “yes” just after i run domino 7.03 setup program to upgrade the old domino 6.5.4 server.

What you need to do is check the numbers below against another 7.0.3 server and make sure they are the same.
Setup=650200
ServerSetup=6010
If they are not the same change then via text editor.
