Upgrade to BES breaks Sametime

I’m running Sametime 8.0 Limited Use on Domino 8.0.1, on the same server as the BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1.

This has worked fine from BES version 4.1.0. up to 4.1.5, however I’ve just installed the latest 4.1.6 version and the Sametime server is now refusing to start.

There doesn’t seem to be any Sametime console messages, however running a ‘sh ta’ shows a “Sametime Server Starting services” entry… but that’s it!

None of the Sametime Windows services get started either.

Anyone have any ideas?

Subject: Resolution

An upgrade to BES 4.1.6 alters the notes.ini file by adding this parameter:
HTTPDisableJVM=1

REM it out, using # and restart the Domino server.

Subject: same problem on Domino 7.0.2FP2

I have the same problem on a windows domino 7.0.2FP2. Deactivating BES and reinstall sametime (tried versions 7.0, 7.5, 7.5.1, 8.0.1) didn’t help :frowning:

Can i rollback to Bes 4.1 SP5 ?
