We are planning to upgrade our system from 6.0.2 cf1 to 6.5.4
I would like to know from others who have upgraded to 6.5.4 if there are any
interesting bugs in 6.5.4 or anything to be especially careful about.
We have a number of homegrown web-only applications that were written for
6.0.2. We support email users using the Notes client, Domino Web Access and
POP3 clients, but the majority use Domino Web Access.
We have an LEI server.
We have about 400 users.
Our server is an iSeries v5r2

We are planning almost the exact same upgrade. We also use DWA, LEI and a lot of custom web applications on an iSeries. I called Lotus and was advised to only go to 6.5.4 after the Fix Pack comes out, especially with the iSeries. According to Lotus, the FP “should” be out in July. I was told that 6.5.3 FP1 was very stable, especially for iSeries, so that’s what we’re going to do. You have to upgrade LEI also.

Anyway, I blogged today that FP1 is available and the link is at my blog. I upgraded my cluster iSeries from 6.5.4 to 6.5.4 FP1 and it went very well. I will probably upgraded my production iSeries this weekend. I would definitely recommend going with FP1 if you go to 6.5.4!
