Upgrade or New install

Hi all,

Hi I,m new to Lotus Notes/domino and i have to do this.

We have several Notes servers R5 runnning with applications on it and also email .

Now we need to upgrade these servers and also need to upgrade 3 domino doc servers from 7 to 8 or 8.5.Now we have to deside for a new install or upgrading the existing servers. We have also running AD and we want to have one administring tool for just making new accounts and emailaccounts.

also we want to use the security groups in windows for give rights on the databases we use on the domino servers.

I,m looking for some good tips

Sounds like you’re up to a challange here, especially since you are new to Notes. You may want to contact a business partner to help you with this, it is not a scenario you want to initiate overnight.

Thanks for respondingYes i know that The problem is that the servers has to be replaced with new one’s and also that the old servers running win2000 server.

So i like a challenge hahahaha.
