We have been using the 8.5.1 Domino Server trial software and are ready to install the licensed version. I’ve done many Windows based Domino server upgrades but none on Linux. Can we just install “over the top” of the existing trial version to preserve current configuration? Alternatively, does Linux work the same way as a Windows upgrade in that I could start over with a “clean machine” and just replace the default NSFs, notes.ini and ids with the ones created with the trial software? Are there any “gotchas” to that approach? I am so new to Linux I won’t even tell you how many days of experience I have with it! Thanks for any guidance.
