Time to upgrade. Since the EOL of domino 6 comes soon, i’m currently testing upgrades of our infrastructure.
My question is, should I jump to 8.5 or 8.0.2? Wich one is the most stable platform right now?

I would go with 8.0.2 just because it’s more tested. I would wait for a point release before going to 8.5. I recently upgraded all my servers from 6.x and 7.x to 8.0.2 and they are incredibly stable.
Subject: Go for 8.5 at least with the Client
As someone who has used 8.0, 8.0.1, 8.0.2 and now 8.5, I strongly recommend that you go with the 8.5 client as it is the most stable and speedy of the 8.x releases.
Remember that 8.5 is a server-focussed release. There’s not a huge amount of new material in the client from 8.0.2 to 8.5 but they did settle the code.
As for the server… well, in that case, 8.5 really is a point-zero release and you need to test things very carefully before you make your decision.
