We have a small Domino cluster just between 2 servers. We have noticed that if a database is removed (deleted) from one servers, the Database document is updated in the Cluster Directory. Does anyone know what process does this and when it is done?

Is is done by the cluster manager and it occurs immediately. Create a new replica of an empty db on one of the servers and then switch over to the console really quick and you will see cldbdir.nsf push a new doc to the other cluster members. this doc is the db doc for the new replica you just created. SERVER_CLUSTER_ON=1 in the notes.ini tells domino to start the necessary server tasks required for the cluster to run. I don’t recall the exact task names, it’s been a while since they were listed individually.
