Hi folks,
What im trying to do , is the following:
I have a CMS product based on domino, through this CMS you can build html templates for showing documents on web bla bla all this CMS stuff…
in a html template, i have a textfield(<input type=text) which the user is able to type a message and this message would be added to a box.
this box(a
What i need to do, is to everytime an user types a new message and click “add”, this message needs to be added to this “body” field of the document. PS: Added, not overwriten, it must keep the “old” value.
All this must be done through a action method.
I did try to search for URL COMMAND ?Savedocument , but i didnt found any useful information
PS: i cant just use “…/docid?Savedocument” , cause the document is not opened for editing, the html template only shows the documents field value, computed.
this “add” function should “inject” the input text message to this document “body” field.
Im not asking for a solution, but any tips on how to update a field value through web(form action), and of course, keeping its value.
This CMS product has its databases with design closed, so i cant add any agent. it should be done through form action method. adding design elements is the last chance for this task.
any tips ?!!?
Thanks in advance.
PS: if i figure out any solution, i will post here.
