UPDATE:
Ok - I created a custom widget for live text and it appears to be working … sort of. It’s grabbing email addresses and launching a view. It’s doing the live text in custom databases that I’ve created in the past, but on in my mail file.
To clarify, this is only working with a custom widget, outside my mail file. Still ‘out-of-the-box’ live text is not working.

Live text is not working at all. Even the ‘out-of-the-box’ stuff. In my preferences I have live text enabled. I am the administrator and am not using a desktop policy to restrict live text usability.
The ‘Live Text Content Type’ doesn’t show anything by default. Should it? Even if I try to create some content which then gets listed under there, still no live text.
I’m reproducing this on other machines. In fact, it’s not working on any installs at the moment.
