Update internet address in location document

Hi All,

Quick one - just changed company name so have changed the internet mail address in person document in NAB, but this does not seem to be updating in the location document on the PC.

Having not had to do this before is there something I am missing?

Subject: not automatic

Changing a value in Domino Directory doesn’t automatically change the corresponding Location value - you need an agent to do it directly - look up in DomDir, update in localNAB.

Wow - thats really suprising. So unless you have some development skills (be that scripting it yourself or otherwise) you have to manually go around and modify each location document?

Again - really suprising! I would have thought from an admin point of view this was possible. Well, I’d better get going on it then.

Hi,

You can do it automatically w/o any coding… Just use the Administration Process…

Try to Rename the User, then change the Email Address only. Afterwich, issue

tel adminp p p

tel adminp p new

Or at night, issue: >tel adminp p all

Then, the next time the user login or authenticates with the server, the AdminP will push the changes down to the user’s local Pc…
