I have seem many users complain about a blank grey “Untitled” page appearing. The solution that seemed to work was to delete cache.ndk and bookmark.nsf. Now I have one user where everything I do, I can’t seem to get rid of it.Clicking the Mail icon from bookmarks, doing a File |Database| open, clicking the mail icon from the workspace, all produce the same blank grey untitled page on top of opening the mailbox. The mailbox also gets screwed up as well. The left navigation design elements totally disappear, like having a white background. The Inbox and folders are there, its just the background is all white. Weird…
Interesting thing was that as soon as I opened the All Documents view, everything in the blank grey untitled page refreshed back to its original working design. So far I have tried the following with no luck:
deleting the cache.ndk,bookmark.nsf
giving user a new cache.ntf, bookmark.ntf
deleting the desktop6.dsk
deleting the database’s full text index
Any ideas or explaination for this?? I’m at a loss…Thx!

Hi,i had a similar problem in the early R6 version and fixed it by replace the design and adjusted the launch- and advanced database properties of my mailfile. After design replace but before first open set the launch settings to:
After i opened the mailfile the first time it looks ok and i reenabled the setting “restore at last viewed by user” on the launch tab, to make sure the db opens allways on my preferred options.
