I went to Lotus 8 a few weeks ago. At first when I read a new email in my in-basket it changes from unread to read (color goes from red to black) as usual. However, when I drag that email into another folder it changes back to unread (red) in the folder and the folder’s unread count is incremented. In the previous version of Lotus the email would stay in the read state which is what I want.
I was told by Brent to select the “Do not mark modified documents as read” on the database design tab.
I did this and it solved the problem. However, late today it started doing it again and setting the “Do not mark…” has no effect now.
Any suggestions?
