Unrecognized characters found after time/date

In a document accessed with messagebox in script,

i have a date/time field where the display ist limited to hh:mm.

if i enter a time with the [CR] a runtime error will follow:

Lotus Notes

Unrecognized characters found after time/date

OK

At this time, it is not possible to correct the error, because the messagebox ist going close.

How can i solve this problem.

I have tried it with: @IsError in the Input Validation Section of the field.

The error occurs before Input Validation Section.

I have changed the Field Style from Notes Style to Calendar/Time Control. Now it’s no longer possible to make a [CR] in the field.

I may be making some assumptions – are you saying that when the user hits it closes the dialog box as if they clicked OK? If so, don’t let the dialog box close until you have verified that the date is valid.
