In my inbox it has one message that hasn’t been read…However there isn’t any new mail or unread messages…Any suggestions…

Not able to tell the exact reason, but i have faced this problem in notes 6.5.x, this might be due to views are not able to update properly, try ctrl+shift+F9 (to update all the views) and from Edit → Unread Marks → Mark all read.
