We have just installed a new Domino server and applied the CF1 patch. It is also running Symantec’s SAV filtering for both inbound and outbound messages.
Our problem is with any client (4.67 or 6.0.1) when a message is sent and they save a copy, it is put in the sent folder correctly, but it shows up as unread. With the new 6.x clients, they don’t see the () to the right of the sent folder saying they have unread mail, but if you click on the folder it does show up as unread. With the 4.67 clients, we’re getting a lot of calls from people thinking they have new mail because their unread marks on the workspace show the sent messages…
The only thing I can think of is that when SAV checks their email for content and virus, it is remarking the messages, but that’s just a guess on my part – other than turning off the outbound filtering and restarting the server, I don’t know how I can test this.
Anyone have any ideas?
