Is there any option to clear the unread mark count on a Windows device running Traveler 8.5.2.1? The Inbox unread shows 44 while there are only 3 read messages in the Inbox. The only option I see in the menus is mark something unread. Device is running Windows Mobile 6.5.

Traveler is manipulating the data (which is read or unread) and not the count, so this appears to be a WM issue.
However, I was also confused by your post as you said it reported 44 unread and you had 3 that were read. So, how many were unread? Was it really 44? Or did you mean to say 3 unread (just a typo)?
The WM menu only allows you to switch it to the other. So if the messsage is read, the menu would be to mark it unread and vice versa. So, maybe you were looking at a read mail which is why you only saw the option for unread?
The device may recalculate the count if you exit the mail application (actually close it instead of just switching away and leaving it in the background) or reboot the device.
