Unread mail indication - Possible Bug?

We have a user who is using bold-black text for unread messages (Unread mail indication). On his customized homepage - the inbox is showing red text for unread - but if you open his mailfile, unread messages are bold black. I was able to recreate this issue on my notes client as well.

This might be a bug…Anybody came across before and perhaps a workaround if there is any…

Subject: Not a bug, a feature…

The welcome page doesn’t use the java view that the inbox does, so renders mail in the ‘old’ format, using red for unread. Would be nice if that was changed though
