Unread Count

I know this has been brought up many times. But this still doesn’t seem to be functioning correctly.

I have one user who replicated with a local backup copy and ended up with about 30,000 emails in the inbox.

So they went through and deleted them all again. But the unread count now remains at 30,000 odd.

This happened over a week ago.

Is this related to deletion stubs ?

Can anyone help on this ? Previous posts seem vague or unanswered by the IBM powers that be.

Thanks

Xavier

Subject: Unfortunately there still are bugs with unread marks

… I have the extact same problem with 6.0.4. Note that there is a database property that your’re supposed to know about:

Unfortunately I never got quite the results I wanted by fiddling around with these settings either.

Subject: Unread Count

I had the same problem. It is related to deletion stubs. After i have changed the deletion stubs by selecting File, Replication, Settings and setting the "Remove Documents Not Modified in the Last from 90 days to 8 days.

Thankyou very much That worked

This must be a bug , as i didn’t even enable this checkbox. Just changed the number of days.

Any ideas IBM?
