I’ve got a view that an agent accesses to export document info to Excel.
The view has a number of columns which can be used for sorting purposes.
If the user clicks on a column other than the first column in the view, then selects documents for export, the results are the correct number of documents, but not the documents that were selected.
If the user selects as above, then clicks on the first column to resort by that column, then the correct documents are exported.
It seems that no matter which douments are selected, only the correct ones are exported when the first column is the sort column.
Subject: RE: UnprocessedDocuments and Column Sorts
Sorry - I am just now revisiting this problem, thanks to a user.
The view contains a number of columns, many that are sortable.
If the user uses any one of the columns as a sort column, then the agent returns the correct number of douments, but the wrong documents.
If the user does the same, then clicks on the first column until the first column column sort arrow is cleared, the agent correctly grabs and processes the correct documents.
Set workspace = New NotesUIWorkspace
Set uiview = workspace.CurrentView
'collect the selected documents
Set dc = uiview.Documents
Set doc = dc.GetFirstDocument
Do
..... code to export using NotesViewNavigator
Set doc = dc.GetNextDocument(doc)
There’s lots of other code, but dc should grab the correct documents regardless of the following code.
I’m not sure what’s going on, but the user is sure irritated.
