Unique Key and Total Dilema

I’m creating a view using “Generating unique keys in index”. However, I would also want the corresponding column to show the REAL number of documents in the category.

e.g.: First column is 1st Approval Completed, which I have 10 with “Yes” and 8 with “No”. The second column is Total with Formula “1” as the value. Now I only get 1 for “Yes” and 1 for “No” if “Generating unique keys in index” is used.

I know I can category the first column and remove the “Generating unique keys in index” in the view. But instead of one 1st Approval Completed, I have about 8 approval level, i.e.: 2nd Approval Completed, 3rd Approval Completed … It would really look cumbersome if I categorize all the levels of approvals. So I just prefer using Ascending Standard for the Approval Completed, but the question is how I can show the REAL number of documents in this view?

Thank you for your help!

hu,

If you turn this feature on, then the view index discards all the other duplicate entries. Therefore, you cannot get a ‘real’ count.

Thank you so much Raphael. I guess I’ll have to look for other approaches then.
