Unicode can't display in Notes

I am using Lotus Notes Client 6.

Here meet a big problem. The Notes client can not display the unicode character.

Please help.

there are different causes:

a) your OS is not Unicode enabled (W98 or W2K/WXP without Chinese fonts)

b) You don’t have the font a message is written in

c) You need to change (in user preferences) the default fonts to a Unicode enabled font (c worked for me)

Thanks for your reply.

I am using WinXP/OSX, they are both supporting chinese fonts.

I have tried to change the font in “default font” in “user preferences”, it works well in WinXP, but not Mac OSX. (AS I can’t choose “Enable Unicode display” in Lotus Client in OSX, all of the chinese char change to “*”.)
