Unexpected TCP/IP Error on the Notes Client

The error message: 04/02/2003 12:44:46 PM Unexpected TCP/IP error func: 000Ah error Notes: 1C5B, NTI: 0008h, Stack: 0000277Bh

The Conditions:

User has scheduled replication enabled. After about 40 percent of the replication is complete, it bails and trys to replicate about 5 times before giving the error message. Windows XP Home Edition, 512MB, plenty of disk space left, Broadband Internet Access. My user replicates thier mail file with 2 different workstations (WIN2K and WINXP Home). The error only happens on the XP machine AND it only happens with the mail file.

I’ve already uninstalled / reinstalled, upgraded from 6 to 6.0.1, tried different mail templates (even an R5 mail template).

Any ideas?

Don’t know if this will help, but have a look at the settings under File->Preferences->User Preferences->Ports->TCP/IP for Encrypt network data and Compress network data. See if they’re different on the XP machine than they are on the others.

Thanks, I hadn’t thought of that however, those settings were not set on that machine. I have since completely uninstalled, edited the registry to remove all evidence of Notes, and reinstalled. Same results.
