After I set the Mailbox preferences–> Colors for specific users, I am able to see the specified users mails in colors in AllDocuments Folder, but not in Inbox folder…any setting need to be done???

Maybe you had altered the inbox design and then checked on the “do not allow refresh” while in R5?
Make sure the inbox is the R6 design. You might be able to use “Actions > Upgrade Folder Design” after you’ve ensured that “do not allow refresh” is checked off.
