Unable to sign template using server id via Administratio client files tab

Template located on Domino server 64 bit release 8.5.1 for Windows on Windows 2003.

Tried to use “sign” tool on files tab in Admin client to sign the template with the server ID.

Operation fails with error “You are not authorized to perform this operation”

User ID requesting sign is :

Manager with delete based on group membership in the ACL of the template

Manager in the ACL of admin4.nsf

Is in the LocalDomainADmins group and so is in the administrator field on the security section of the server document and also can enable full access administration

Also fails when full access administration used.

HOWEVER if I start my old 7.0.3 admin client as the same user and try the same action on the same template on the same server, the operation completes without error.

Wierd eh?

Subject: same here but…

I found that it is somehow related to settings in Location document (domain or directory server or something else). If I change my Location to totally different (where domain and directory servers are in different domain) and then change it back to normal then I can sign my databases.

Subject: how wierd!!!

Subject: Same here,

same error with notes client 8.5.1 and 8.5.1 fp1.

Does work with notes 8.5

Domino Server 8.5.1 on linux.

Subject: Deleting the cache and the perweb.nsf worked

I am pretty sure the cache.ndk has something to do with this.

I stopped Lotus Notes(client, admin and design) then I deleted the cache.ndk and the perweb.nsf.

I think deleting Cache.ndk should be enough

restarted and all worked as expected…

Now, if we could have a permanent code to clear that cache, that would be great…
