Whenever my internet connection drops my internal mail (User A to User B) will not route until my internet connection comes back up. It sits in my mail.box. I have just one server and one mail.box
Subject: Working as designed
If you do not have an internet connection, then regardless of whether or not the mail is internal or external, it will not leave your local machine. You must have a working internet connection to allow your mail to reach the server.
