I’m hoping someone can help me with this particular error. I have one mail database that has had a rule that forwards messages to another address. The rule stopped working, so we did the following;
Disabled, deleted and recreated the rule.
Run fixup, updall and compact on the DB.
Created a new copy of the DB.
Used a rule that we found here that wipes out the Calendar profile.
Down graded the design of the DB all the way to version 4 and then up graded it again.
Nothing’s working. Then I finally saw this error on the server; “Router: Unable to retrieve mail filters from database Mail2\abc123.nsf, Document has been deleted.”
Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

Hi,
Have you tried this?

According to the Lotus Knowledge Base here is the resolution for your issue:
“View corruption in the user’s mail file prevented the rules from being executed. The corruption was eliminated by running “compact -c” against the mail file, after which the mail rules run properly”.

Thank you for the suggestions. We were finally able to correct this issue when we noticed that one person was listed as accessing the mail database even though they weren’t online. It took a reboot and dropping the user to get rid of the phantom access. When we did the rule began to work again.
