Unable to load workspace file desktop8.ndk

I am installing 8.5.1 FP2 on MAC OS 10.6 and I copy over the user’s old desktop6.ndk from their Notes 7.0.2 MAC client to the data directory and when I run Notes for the first time I get the error: "Unable to load workspace file: desktop8.ndk delet the file and create a new workspace?

Any help is much appreciated.

Subject: Is the old desktop6.ndk file generated on PowerPC or Intel?

If it’s generated on Intel, Notes 8.5.1 should be able to automatically migrate it to desktop8.ndk. If it’s generated on PowerPC, automatic migration might fail on Intel.
