I set up a new Notes 7 client today. I added the correct Connection document and modified the Location document to point to the correct server and mail file.
This client is able to open the server-based mail file and read documents. But when I try to send an email (or look up an address ), I get an “unable to find path to server” error.
The server listed is the same one the mail file is on – and the same one I already have a connection document for. I can open databases on this server when I select file\open\database.
Whey would it be able to find a path to the server in other circumstances, but not when looking up an address or sending mail?
